KTNV Las Vegas reports that Nevada is having to think creatively about water conservation. Recent cuts and future population predictions from University of Nevada Las Vegas estimate that Clark County will grow by 40,000 to 50,000 people every year, with total population estimated to increase from just under 2.4 million to over 3 million in 2035. Currently, Las Vegas is examining evaporative cooling systems used in large buildings, investing in the reuse of wastewater, and answering questions about the potential of desalination.
