Briefly: National Park Service to use chemicals on non-native Colorado River fish below Lake Powell

Arizona Public Radio reports that the National Park Service will use a substance approved by environmental regulators, rotenone, in the Colorado River below Glen Canyon Dam as part of a lengthy struggle to reduce populations non-native smallmouth bass and green sunfish, which are a danger to threatened native fish, the humpback chub.
