Briefly: New tech offers potential PFAS treatment breakthrough

The Washington Post reports that Canadian researchers have developed a new water filter that is capable of removing several kinds of PFAS chemicals, sometimes called “forever chemicals” from tap water. This year the EPA is moving to regulate the substances, which are difficult to break down and are widely used in household products and industry.
