Lisa Strachan Bio

Lisa Strachan is the Membership and Development Manager at Water Education Colorado. Lisa brings a deep passion for water management across her home state of Colorado and its unique, diverse landscapes to her role at WEco. With extensive experience in fundraising, event coordination, and donor relations, she has led impactful efforts at organizations such as the Museum of Contemporary Art Denver, the Developmental Disabilities Resource Center, and the Kennedy Center for Performing Arts.

Outside of work, Lisa is an avid adventurer, with highlights including hiking the Inca Trail, backpacking through Denali National Park, and summiting various volcanoes in Central America. She finds inspiration in Colorado’s stunning trails and mountain peaks, often accompanied by her two dogs. Her love of travel was fueled by time living in vibrant countries like Spain and Argentina, and she’s always eager to explore new corners of the globe—making travel one of her greatest passions.
