Nevada governor warns over state’s share of Colorado River cuts

Las Vegas Fox 5 News reports that Gov. Joe Lombardo is issuing warnings about looming Colorado River cuts and their impact on the state. Nevada’s portion is being cut from 300,000 acre-feet to 250,000. And though the state uses just 198,000 acre-feet, the buffer isn’t enough to offset his concerns as researchers warn that the river’s flows are likely to continue shrinking.
