According to the Las Vegas Sun, The Nevada Division of Water Resources is measuring the depth of groundwater wells. The measurements will help to ensure a sustainable water future for the drought-prone state of Nevada. Ten percent of Southern Nevada’s water supply comes from wells, so the recent trend in stable water levels is a good sign, but water managers remain cautious.
