According to the Wyoming Tribune Eagle, Wyoming’s water chief called for emergency funding for hydrologists to measure flows in the state’s portion of the troubled Colorado River Basin. Data collection is vital for the state to be able to fight for increased water rights under the 1922 Colorado River Compact.
