Briefly: New study says Arizona is recycling more water than most Western states

The Arizona Republic reports that water-short Arizona is recycling half of its wastewater and using it to help meet the state’s need for drinking water, according to a new study. Researchers say that if all Colorado River states recycled wastewater at the same rate, it could add 1.3 million acre-feet of reusable water to the drought-strapped Colorado River Basin.
