Briefly: New study on drought-stressed Crystal River eyes natural solutions to avert shortages

Aspen Journalism reports that a new study indicates there are natural solutions, including recharging aquifers and releasing water supplies high in the mountains above the river, that could avert shortages on the West Slope’s scenic Crystal River. Some storage options off the river’s mainstem may also be considered.
