Source New Mexico reports that U.S. Air Force officials and New Mexico environmental regulators have reached a long-awaited agreement to clean aquifers contaminated by firefighting foam that contained “forever chemicals.” The contamination was discovered in 2015 and resulted in tainted water that harmed wells and dairy farms.
