Briefly: Nevada tightens grip on residential water use

Fox News Las Vegas reports that Nevada has approved a new law that will sharply limit residential water use. The measure limits household use to half an acre-foot per year. An acre-foot equals 326,000 gallons of water. But officials said most Las Vegas Valley homeowners already use less than that, and that the measure targets high-volume users.
