Briefly: Las Vegas’ “Real Water” recalled amid reports of death, illness

ABC News reports that federal authorities have ordered a complete recall of the Las Vegas-based bottled water brand Real Water. The company must surrender records regarding investigations of at least one death and a number of cases concerning liver illness. In April, the FDA stated that it was imperative that consumers not “drink, cook with, sell, or serve ‘Real Water’ alkaline water.”
