Briefly: Klamath Irrigation District relents, agrees to federal water order

The Associated Press reports that southern Oregon’s Klamath Irrigation District has complied with a federal order to stop delivering water to its farmers. The district had initially refused to stop delivering water, but relented after the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation threatened to withhold $20 million in emergency drought funding.
