Briefly: Denver Water will temporarily take more Colorado River water in drought deal

Aspen Journalism reports that Denver Water, under an agreement that dates back to 2007, will be allowed to take more water from the Upper Colorado River until May 20. The agreement reduces the call at the Shoshone Hydro Plant in times of drought, allowing Denver Water to store more.
