According to KUNC, this week Las Vegas is hosting the annual meeting of the Colorado River Water Users Association. Attendees will include farmers, tribal leaders, city utility managers, environmentalists, scientists, and journalists. The focus will be on the representatives from the seven basin states — Arizona, California, Colorado, Nevada, New Mexico, Utah and Wyoming — and all are preparing for tense conversations.
