Briefly: Arizona town, facing Colorado River cuts, raising water rates 25%, again

Arizona’s ABC15 News reports that Gilbert officials are likely to dramatically raise water rates, as much as 25% next year, to help prepare for potential cuts to its Colorado River supplies. The increases are the latest in a series. Gilbert derives 41% of its water from the Colorado River.
