Briefly: After Trump veto, Colorado agencies step in to help fund Lower Arkansas conduit

Colorado Springs KRCC public radio reports that two state agencies have stepped in with $45 million in grants and loans to help continue work on the Lower Arkansas Valley Conduit. President Trump vetoed federal legislation that would have trimmed borrowing costs and made the pipeline more affordable for residents. The Colorado Water Resources and Power Development Authority and the Colorado Water Conservation Board have provided the funding.
