Briefly: Adams County water district sues Denver over “forever chemicals”

The Denver Post reports that the South Adams County Water and Sanitation District has sued the city of Denver, alleging that its fire training facility near its water system have contaminated it drinking water due to the use of fire-fighting foam. The small district discovered the contamination in 2018 and spent tens of millions of dollars to remove the toxins from its water supply.
