David Grimsland Bio

David is the incoming Membership and Development Manager at WEco. He brings a diverse background, bridging marketing expertise with nonprofit leadership. A graduate of the Art Institute of Philadelphia, he built his foundation in media, progressing from Regional Sales Manager at the Daily Camera to Director of Sales and Marketing at Boulder Weekly. His nonprofit transition began through board service with the Autism Society of Boulder County, where he discovered a passion for fundraising and community impact.

This passion led David to become the Executive Director at the Imagine! Foundation, where he applied his business acumen to advance the organization’s mission. He now serves as Membership and Development Manager at WEco, continuing to leverage his development skills to build meaningful community connections.

When not advancing organizational missions, David treasures his role as husband and father to triplet boys. The family embraces Colorado’s natural playground, spending time skiing, backpacking, camping, and exploring the wilderness together, creating adventures that fuel both body and spirit.
