Drought Webinar: Collaboration and Drought Impacts on the West Slope

When the Historic Users Pool (HUP) in Green Mountain Reservoir wasn't filling this year, the Colorado River District worked with water users on a creative and collaborative solution to ensure that more water users would get their water. This has meant give and take throughout the Colorado River system — which hasn't been easy on anyone. 

Join us to hear about how this drought program came together with the support of water users from the headwaters to the state line. We'll gain an understanding of the mechanics of this program, and hear from the Grand Valley Water Users Association and the Eagle River Water and Sanitation District on how this challenging season has been looking.
