Circle of Blue reports that the Four Corners region could see a major, $5 billion pumped hydropower project developed in the next seven years, with backers saying that the water-intensive undertaking could provide critical green energy to the area. The project received a $7.1 million grant from the federal government and is undergoing feasibility studies now.
