Briefly: Study finds ‘forever chemicals’ reach tap water via treated sewage

According to the New York Times, a recent study looking at water samples nationwide found that wastewater, even after treatment to make it drinkable, contains high levels of PFAS. These ‘forever chemicals’ don’t break down in the environment and have been linked to cancers and other diseases further sounding the alarm on removing PFAS from water sources.
