Briefly: Many Wells in North Carolina Remain Unsafe After Helene’s Deluge

According to the New York Times, following the devastating damage from Hurricane Helene, more than 150,000 municipal-water customers in North Carolina remain under boil-water notices, and around four in 10 of all private wells tested so far weren’t safe to drink from.
