According to the Salt Lake Tribune, in an effort to conserve water, Utah’s Agricultural Water Optimization Program is working to help farmers and ranchers modernize their irrigation. By targeting irrigation, Utah hopes to save more water for communities, rivers and reservoirs downstream.
