Briefly: Klamath River historic dam removal project complete

CNN reports that the last of the major hydroelectric dams involved in a Klamath River restoration project along the California-Oregon border has been removed, allowing the region’s salmon population to swim freely, which they haven’t been able to do for more than a century. It is the largest dam removal project ever in the U.S.
