Briefly: Emergency water releases from Flaming Gorge likely to help endangered fish

The Colorado Sun reports that a 500,000 acre-foot release of water from Utah’s Flaming Gorge Reservoir could provide a welcome opportunity for the Upper Colorado River Basin Endangered Fish Recovery Program. Scientists said the releases are being coordinated in ways likely to be most helpful to the fish.
