The Water Leaders Program is one of Water Education Colorado’s (WEco) flagship programs, and has graduated more than 200 participants since it launched in 2006. In the complex world of Colorado water, the goal of the Water Leaders Program is to equip the next generation of water professionals with the necessary skills to lead the state forward effectively and with confidence toward smart solutions for Colorado water. The program runs every year from April to September, and we are very excited to have kicked off the 2022 Water Leaders Program on April 14-15 last week!
Students in the 2022 Water Leaders class explored their unique strengths as leaders in small groups.
This year, WEco is partnering with Stephanie Scott of Scott Solutions LLC, and Ashley Seeley of Excellence Advantage to deliver leadership development facilitation and coaching. The Water Leaders curriculum positively impacts the Colorado water profession by creating a pipeline of dedicated, effective water leaders across diverse fields. While the program typically only lasts for four months, the skills and relationships that are built last a lifetime.
