Briefly: As Lake Powell drops, Wyoming plans new storage in Upper Colorado River Basin

The WyoFile reports that Wyoming, one of the four Upper Colorado River Basin states including Colorado, Utah and New Mexico, is looking for ways to shore up its own water supplies in upper reaches of the Green and Little Snake rivers, even as Lake Powell, which also relies on the Colorado River farther downstream, is falling to critically low levels.
