In Brief: Wyoming OKs pumping pollutants into aquifer ahead of EPA review

Oil City News reports that Wyoming regulators voted 4-1 last Tuesday to permit Aethon Energy to pump millions of gallons of pollutants into an underground aquifer near Shoshoni. Wyoming administers the underground injection program under federal laws, rules and regulations. The pending order will go to the federal Environmental Protection Agency.
