Briefly: As California farms use less Colorado River water, worries grow over shrinking Salton Sea

According to the LA Times, a new federally funded program designed to alleviate the water shortage on the Colorado River is leaving some people in the Imperial Valley concerned with the accelerating decline of the Salton Sea and worsening environmental problems people are beginning to see along its receding shores.
