Briefly: A decade after signing of California groundwater law, major challenges remain

According to the LA Times, a historic piece of legislation was passed in 2014 that established a framework for California to manage groundwater in an effort to curb declines in aquifer levels. However, the real world implementation of the law has yet to achieve its goals as groundwater levels continue to decline.
